DESIGNING THE FUTURE OF YACHT RACING
Following the outstanding success of the inaugural World Yacht Racing Forum (WYRF) in 2008, the WYRF returns, with many new and exciting developments, to the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from 9-10 December, 2009.
One new initiative is the Yacht Racing Design and Technology Symposium.
This will be the first ever opportunity for anyone involved in the design and technology of race and performance yachts to meet and discuss current and future developments in yacht racing design and technology. A core feature of the Symposium is the numerous design and technology focused panel debates/discussions featuring industry experts from a variety of different interests.
If you are involved in the business of Yacht design, this two-day Forum is a must-attend event. Join over 100 international yacht industry design experts, leading authorities and ‘personalities’ for two-days of intense industry debate, discussions and networking opportunities.
Highlights for 2009 and key reasons why you must attend include:
• Over 30 international speakers and panel members
• 50+ Marine Media representatives
• Global Yacht Racing ‘personalities’ in attendance
• 6 technology driven panel sessions / debates with audience participation
• Over 9 hours of networking sessions scheduled
• Over 35 exhibition showcase stands of cutting edge solution and technology providers
• Owners of Racing Superyachts invited free
• 2 evening social functions
• Held in association with two new exciting events: The World Yacht Racing Forum and the 1st International Superyacht Coatings Conference
• Co-located alongside the Motorsports Business Forum
Following the successful launch of the World Yacht Racing Forum in 2008, the co-location of the inaugural Yacht Racing Design and Technology Symposium will ensure the event becomes the ideal meeting place for the Yacht design industry to gather together.
As 7-time Sailing World Champion Paul Cayard said, “I don't know if a collection of people representing this much fire power in the sport of sailing has ever been in one room for two days”. Think of the benefits of being able to mix freely with a who’s who of international yachting.
